GOVERNING COUNCIL

1. My name is Shizuyo Sutou from Shujitsu University, Okayama, Japan.
My presentation is entitled, “The linear no-threshold model (L-N-T) is invalid: Low-
dose, essential; mid-dose, beneficial; and high-dose, hazardous.”
2. My research into hormesis started at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant
accident on March 11, 2011. Residents within a 20 km radius of the power plant
were forced to evacuate.
3. From May to August, a tentative home-return program was conducted. I engaged
in monitoring returnees for radio-contamination.
4. Returnees were taken home by bus and after staying for two hours, they returned
to the off-site center.
5. Among more than 33 thousand returnees, no one was contaminated. Radiation
itself did not kill anyone at the Fukushima accident, but enforced evacuation killed
more than 2,000 people. LNT is a killer. Why the evacuation was conducted?
Because, LNT asserts that the smallest amount of radiation is hazardous. If it were
not for LNT, no need to evacuate, no need to decontaminate soils, and no need to
stockpile tritiated water.
6. Now, all foods contain K-40 and other radionuclides. So, all foods are radioactive.
Also, all living organisms are radioactive.
7. We are exposed to radiation internally and externally. The mount is about 20,000
radiation hits per second.
8. At Fukushima, I was exposed to radiation of 6,000 counts per mminute at
maximum. I was scared that my cancer risk might be elevated. So, I studied hardly
the biological effects of radiation. I was relieved to learn the 6,000 counts per
mminute is 100 counts per second and 100 hits are negligible as compared with
20,000 hits per second. It means that my cancer risk was not elevated.
9. In hormesis, lower-doses are beneficial, but higher-doses are hazardous. Dose-
response curves of hormesis show a J-shaped curve. Many data show J-shaped
curves, the hallmark of hormesis.
10. LNT and hormesis dose-responses are compared. LNT and hormesis are
incompatible with each other. Most data support hormesis, meaning that LNT is
invalid.
11. The lifespan of Hiroshima and Nagasaki A-bomb survivors shows hormetic J-
shaped curve. The lifespan of the survivors is longer than that of the Japanese by
about one year.
12. A-bomb survivors’ cancer risk is lower than the Japanese by several %.

Dr. Teresa Matoso M. Victor, studied Chemistry with Chemical Engineering at Northumbria University, United Kingdom 2001 and graduated 2004 with MSc in Sustainable Chemical Engineering, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. She then joined research group of Prof. Galip Akay and Prof. Alan Ward, School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials, for her PhD, during her studies, invented a micro-porous inert material. She obtained PhD in Chemical Engineering, with a multidisciplinary project encompassing the areas of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, defended her thesis 2008. Currently associate professor and Researcher at the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Technologies and Sciences, Luanda, Angola.

Dr. Fariah Iram Gaba has been awarded the International Best Consultant of 2025 as part of her profile selection by the International Multidisciplinary Innovations & Research Achievements Committee (IMIRAC) under the the awarding body of Scopus Index 2025. Dr. Fariah Gaba is British and born in the UK. She studied Biomedical Sciences in the UK and went onto study Dentistry in Valencia. Dr. Gaba graduated both times with honors in the top 3% of her academic years in both countries. Dr. Gaba has received awards spanning from 2012-2022: 10 awards for academic excellence in Dentistry (“Matricula de Honour”), a Scholarship Grant Award to study and work at the Dental Hospital at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, “El Premio Fin de la Carrera”-awarded to the top 1% of university undergraduate students for academic excellence in Dentistry bestowed upon the awardee by their university as dictated by The Ministry of Education in Spain. Thus far Dr. Gaba has been bestowed with 9 international awards for her research and alongside her work as a General Dentist, continues to work tirelessly on her research. Dr Gaba has successfully published in international dental journals, has published a book chapter with BP International publishers in 2023 entitled: “The Significance of Oral Fusobacterium Nucleatum in Female Breast Cancer: A Brief Overview…”, within a medical book entitled.” Research Developments in Medicine & Medical Science (Volume 4). She is an active peer reviewer in 2 International Dentistry Journals, a reviewer for Global Journals Inc (USA) – an international publishing conglomerate helping to disseminate and maintain high- impact and quality scientific knowledge across, the USA, India and Europe, and editorial board member in 1 International Dentistry Journal. Dr. Fariah Gaba is an active member of an Elite Society in Spain (La Facultad Invisible), whose purpose is to actively encourage, help and stimulate, young, bright talent of the future in all subject fields. Dr. Gaba is also an active participant in International congresses giving presentations on important oral health conditions responsible for the potentiation of systematic diseases. In March 2021, Dr. Gaba was honoured with the prestigious accolade of Top Cited Article Award 2020-2021 for her end of Dentistry degree dissertation in her university studies which was consequently published in The Journal of Oral Pathology & Medicine as a Special Edition article entitled: .”Salivary biomarkers and their efficacies as diagnostic tools for Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma:A Systematic review and Meta‐analysis”. At the end of 2022, Dr. Gaba has been honored with 2 international awards under the category of “Best Researcher” on the topics of Orthopaedic Medicine & Oncology & Cancer Research respectively, with the corresponding awards ceremonies due to take place in Berlin and Dubai (UAE) later in the year. From 2016-2018 Dr. Gaba has participated in numerous international congresses giving oral and poster presentations on a variety of dentistry related topics, with further planned events in 2023. In November 2022, she published another article entitled: “The Role of Oral Fusobacterium nucleatum in Female Breast Cancer: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis” in The International Journal of Dentistry. Dr. Gaba has been a member of The Royal College of Stomatologists in Valencia since 2018, is registered with the BIG, KRT and KNMT organizations for Dentists in Holland, and in January 2023 was personally invited to became an official member of the elite organization “The Invisible Faculty” – an apolitical, non-profit organization originating in Spain, consisting of an elite group of highly driven academicians whose sole purpose is to inspire, encourage and engage with young and talented individuals with the objective of supporting, nurturing and growing their talent to benefit society. In March 2025 Dr Fariah Gaba was awarded Fellowship into the elite “Pierre Fauchard Academy” (PFA) founded in 1936 by Dr. Elmer S. Best, with a mission to develop outstanding leadership in Dentistry, internationally. To date there are over 7000 Fellows around the world. The honor of fellowship is extended to fewer than 3% internationally and is by nomination only. Dr. Gaba is a member of The Royal College of Dentists and Stomatologists in Valencia (ICOEV), and Registered with the BIG and KRT Quality Dentists in The Netherlands. Dr. Gaba is currently working in in The Hague, and is due to complete her 3-year long postgraduate Master’s studies in Aesthetic Dentistry at Kings’ College London (UK), this year. However, as dedicated to patient care as Dr. Gaba is, she also enjoys socializing and possesses a variety of diverse interests, ranging from cooking, travelling, art, cycling, tennis and swimming in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Abhiram Reddy Anireddy is a Civil Engineer with experience in construction management, MEP field, and exhibits strong organizational and time management skills, highly adept in multi-site management business development and personnel acquisition and training. Expertise in reading plans (blueprints), estimation, commercial HVAC, project electrical, controls, contract administration, documentation, negotiation, commercial development, client & vendor relationship, and procurement. Abhiram excels at optimizing project estimating, timelines and risk management, enhancing decision-making across all phases of construction to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. With a master’s degree in civil engineering, Abhiram has built a career spanning over a decade in the construction industry. His expertise ranges from Project management, strategic planning, budget and cost control, design & development. Abhiram’s technical skills cover a wide range of tools and technologies, including FastDuct, FastPipe, MS Office, Bluebeam, MS Project, RS Means, Procore, Primavera Adobe Photoshop, and Gantt Project and certified with Construction Manager in Training (CMIT-CMAA), OSHA 30-Hour Construction, Procore : Engineer, Project Manager (Core Tools & Project Management) Specialized in Auto level, Total Station, Masters Diploma in AutoCAD, Primavera. Abhiram research covers a wide range of topics, reflecting his ability to contribute significantly across various fields, including Labor cost estimation, civil construction, forecasting, project management, Building Information Modeling, Artificial Intelligence, economic factors, workforce dynamics, 3D printing, Risk management, Labor market analysis, Sustainable Construction, Green Building Practices, LEED, Integrated Project Delivery, Sustainable Materials, Resilient Design, Earthquake Resistance, Flood Proofing, Hurricane-proof Buildings, Wildfire-Resistant Structures, Seismic Design, Building Codes, Sustainable Construction, Disaster Risk Reduction. In addition to his academic contributions, he was also an active Volunteer in the National Service Scheme (NSS), who participated and conducted social awareness events. Also received the Prestigious “Indra Gandhi NSS Volunteer Award2014-15” on 19 November 2015, from “The President of India” Shri. Pranab Mukherjee in recognition of doing Social Service Activities among 298 Universities more than 3.6 million student volunteers all over India.
